It can live for up to 120 years, from which the 120-year project derives its name, expressing Golden Pallet Ltd.’s commitment to protecting nature and long-term sustainability. This initiative is not just about planting trees: it is a 120-year promise to the future.
A common goal with Nyírerdő Zrt.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with Nyírerdő Zrt. Debrecen Forestry. Our company has been working with the forestry for decades, which provides FSC-certified raw materials for our sawmill operations. Now the time has come to give something back to the nature together. This cooperation is an example of how an economic relationship can become a shared responsibility for the environment.
13.000 oak trees for the future

On this day, the employees of Golden Pallet Kft. jointly planted thirteen thousand oak trees in the protected Debrecen Great Forest. The aim of the programme is to create lasting value – not only for nature, but also for the local community and future generations.
Our message
“Planting an oak tree is not a momentary act, but a promise for the future.” The 120-year-old project embodies environmentally conscious corporate thinking. A day that connects
Tree Planting Day is also a community experience. Our employees participate in the programme personally, as everyone is responsible for the world we leave behind. This event creates an opportunity to do something lasting together – not only for the environment, but also for each other.
We think long term
The 120-year project does not end on the day of planting. We plan to return to the site every year and document the growth of the trees. Our goal is for the new oak forest to become a living, growing part of the protected Debrecen Great Forest – a natural heritage that will also be valuable for future generations.
