It begins at the forestry and ends at our customers. But how Golden Pallet’s pallets become really good quality? The answer comes in a two-part article.
First, learn about the 3 most steps specific of our work: choosing the best raw material, delivery, or production of different pallet elements.
1. Step: choosing the best raw material
It is a necessity to have the appropriate good raw material to produce good quality pallets. So we pay an extra attention on this phase of the production: the managing director himself (Mr. Csaba Pikó) visits the logging sites, to make sure the good quality of the raw material.
In most cases the species are poplar-because of the lower cost- they are the most common. So 70-80%, the most timber used by us are this species.
2. Step: delivery of the chosen timber
After we choose the material of our pallets, as a next step, we need to deliver that to our site. Burry that in mind, poplar can be found next to rivers etc, the delivery of our chosen material to our site requires good preparation. In unfriendly weather conditions delivery can be impossible or could cost extra. To have continuous material stock is guaranteed at us by having a couple of month’s worth of material.
3. Step: Production of the pallet elements
A raklapelemek gyártása egy összetett f?részipari tevékenység, hiszen a különböz? méret? és min?ség? raklapelemek el?állításához esetenként eltér? technológiákat kell alkalmazni.
It is a very complex sawmill activity, because to be able to produce different size and quality pallet elements, sometimes needs different technologies to be used. Based on carbide saws accurate cutting, and the 1. Class –almost planned surface. Pallets coming from the manufacture of this technology, sawdust-free pallet elements are suitable for pallet productions with a higher quality.
Wastage
Because it could reach up to the 40-50% of the logs to be produced, becomes an important issue how we store and utilize this: as heating material, in the furniture industry or as recycled material for production of pallet elements.
Production of pallet elements
Mainly happens on an automated line, to keep low cost frame and have punctual and standardized work done. With this technology we are able to produce 30-50 m3 pallet elements in 1 shift.
Classifying pallet elements
It already happens in this phase Classifying pallet elements: in first-, second- class, so here already is given, that the pallet element s going to be a quality standard element- or a lower quality (i.e. one way pallet).
